Flying In The Cheap Seats With The iPad

by Paul Colligan on April 3, 2010

So on the flight back from LAX, I purposely bought a seat towards the back, with someone sitting next to me. Typically I do all I can to get a good seat with no company – but I wanted to test the iPad in the real world.

You can type and work on this thing in a cheap seat with no problem at all. Once you get past the “what is that?” questions, there is enough room even on the smallest of tables to do what you need to do. And, with the battery life being what it is, you can actually use it for the entire flight.

Yeah, I like this thing a lot.

Yep it might take a month or so to stop getting the “what is that?” question…. and if you get to many you might want to just hand them a iPad FAQ hand out lol

Could be a fascinating guerilla marketing technique for the site.
