A Surprising Source For iPad Cases

by Paul Colligan on July 7, 2010

Someone pointed out in a comment on our iPad Accessories Page that she got a great case for her iPad at the local Ross (yes, the dress for less guys).

I got this Solo Case for $15.99. There were some cheaper and so more more expensive – but there was a nice little selection, and nothing was over $20. Realize, these aren’t necessarily iPad cases (they’re actually net book cases) but they get the job done and are worth the price.

Do I love this case? Don’t know yet. It looks like it should meet my needs – but time will tell.

But, for sure, before you spend money on an iPad case, make sure to drop by your local Ross first.

Or you can go to the top of the ladder and get the best (I couldn't help myself). If you look through the ipad cases on this site there's a maroon one with a white band – if you click on that, it's the only one they have where the case is like a book which flips back to form a stand – much like the black microfiber (plastic feeling one) you can get with your ipad from apple – but this is hand made and leather and you can pick any colour or colour combination. I picked that design but went for bright orange with a cream band. Expensive at $280, but really nice. :) http://vajacases.com/

As a Apple Developer, I invented a new iPad Case. However, I am not sharing the invention with anyone. Sorry.
